About the Role
Saltera HR is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Inspector to join one of our client's manufacturing team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring products meet company and customer quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, reducing defects, and driving continuous improvement within our production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
- Verify compliance with specifications, blueprints, drawings, and industry standards.
- Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc.) to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in quality/inspection is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment (industrial, mechanical, or related).
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, measurement tools, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
