We are partnering with a global technology leader serving the convenience retail, and quick-service restaurant (QSR) industries to hire a Senior Product Manager for a highly visible customer experience platform.


This role will lead the strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of an established next-generation commerce platform that sits at the intersection of convenience retail, foodservice, self-service technologies, and digital customer engagement. The platform combines software, hardware, payments, and point-of-sale (POS) integrations to deliver seamless customer experiences across convenience stores, travel centers, fuel retailers, and emerging mobility environments.


The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for shaping the future of customer-facing retail technology, ensuring the platform evolves to meet the changing needs of consumers, retailers, and operators. This includes driving innovation across areas such as self-checkout, mobile ordering, loyalty, payments, POS connectivity, digital merchandising, and omnichannel customer experiences.


The Role

As Senior Product Manager, you will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of retail commerce and customer engagement solutions serving convenience stores, QSR operators, travel centers, and fuel retailers. You will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and key customers to deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, increase basket size, enhance customer loyalty, and create frictionless purchasing experiences.

This is a highly strategic product leadership role focused on driving product innovation, market growth, and commercial success within one of the fastest-evolving segments of retail technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for customer-facing commerce platforms supporting convenience retail, QSR, and fuel retail environments.
  • Drive innovation across self-checkout, unattended retail, POS integrations, digital ordering, loyalty, payments, and customer engagement technologies.
  • Identify emerging retail and consumer trends and translate market opportunities into scalable product solutions.
  • Develop products that improve customer acquisition, retention, basket growth, and overall customer lifetime value.
  • Own portfolio performance including revenue growth, market share expansion, pricing strategy, and profitability.
  • Gather Voice of Customer insights through direct engagement with convenience retailers, QSR operators, franchise groups, and enterprise retail customers.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from concept and business case development through commercialization and ongoing optimization.
  • Partner with enterprise customers to understand evolving needs around store technology, customer experience, payments, loyalty, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver integrated software and hardware solutions that enhance the in-store customer journey.
  • Support sales teams with product positioning, competitive differentiation, customer presentations, and strategic account discussions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis across the convenience retail, POS, self-checkout, retail technology, and QSR technology landscapes.
  • Partner with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and customer adoption plans.
  • Monitor product performance metrics including transaction volume, customer adoption, revenue, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.


What We're Looking For:

  • 8 years of Product Management experience with a strong focus on retail technology, commerce platforms, customer experience solutions, or enterprise software products.
  • Experience working within convenience retail, C-store, QSR, foodservice, retail technology, POS, self-checkout, payments, loyalty, digital ordering, or related commerce ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated success owning product strategy, roadmap development, and commercialization for customer-facing technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, consumer purchasing behavior, and digital customer journeys.
  • Experience with POS systems, retail software platforms, payment technologies, loyalty solutions, self-service technologies, or omnichannel commerce platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into commercially successful product initiatives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue-generating product portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced business or technical education is considered an asset.
