This is a full-time, on-site role for a Terminal Operations Manager, based in South Brunswick, NJ. The Terminal Operations Manager will oversee daily terminal operations, ensuring optimum efficiency and compliance with company policies. Responsibilities include managing operations, supervising logistics, maintaining the terminal workforce, supporting staff through training initiatives, and fostering excellent customer service relationships. Collaboration with the logistics team and ensuring timely and quality deliveries are key to this role.
- Proven experience in Operations Management and Terminal Operations
- Expertise in Logistics Management, including scheduling, coordination, and supply chain processes
- Strong skills in Customer Service and relationship management
- Experience in staff Training and development to ensure operational excellence
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred
