Processor – Recruiting Support Specialist
SalSon Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Processor – Recruiting Support Specialist to play a critical role in our recruiting and onboarding process. This position serves as the backbone of our recruiting department by ensuring all candidate paperwork, compliance documents, and onboarding records are completed accurately and efficiently.
The Processor will work closely with recruiters, human resources, safety, and operations teams to help move candidates through the hiring process quickly while maintaining compliance and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review recruiting and onboarding paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure employment applications, onboarding documents, background checks, and other hiring records are properly completed and maintained.
- Track candidate progress through the hiring and onboarding process.
- Communicate with applicants to obtain missing documents and information.
- Maintain electronic and physical personnel files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with recruiters to ensure candidates are moved efficiently through the hiring pipeline.
- Monitor onboarding status and assist in resolving delays that could impact orientation or start dates.
- Enter and update candidate information in company systems and databases.
- Assist with reporting, audits, and compliance-related documentation.
- Support recruiting initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in recruiting, human resources, onboarding, payroll, or administrative support preferred.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or onboarding platforms is a plus.
