Licensed Massage Therapist (Part-Time)
Location: Salora Day Spa - 1220 Church Street, New Castle, Indiana

Salora Day Spa is a serene, boutique wellness destination in downtown New Castle, Indiana. We specialize in restorative massage therapy and Halo Suite wellness experiences that help clients clear their minds and restore their bodies.
Our team also works closely with Abundant Life Clinic of Chiropractic, and all staff are cross-trained to support both settings. Everyone works together to provide a consistent, high-quality experience for every client.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate brings confidence, therapeutic expertise, and a willingness to contribute in multiple areas.
This position follows a set schedule of Fridays and Saturdays together, every other week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour break each day. As your clientele grows, there may be opportunities to expand your hours.
Responsibilities
As part of our cross-trained team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality, therapeutic massage sessions customized to each client's needs and goals
- Writing SOAP notes and maintaining accurate treatment records
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment
- Assisting with laundry, sanitation, and daily upkeep of the spa
- Answering phones, assisting with scheduling, and checking clients out when needed
- Understanding and confidently recommending products and complementary services that support client wellness
- Promoting yourself and building lasting client relationships to encourage retention and referrals
- Supporting social media and promotional efforts to highlight your work and our services
- Collaborating with the wider team to coordinate care and maintain a seamless client experience
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic massage techniques, focusing on results-driven care
- Being proactive, dependable, and ready to assist wherever needed
Qualifications
- Active Massage Therapy License in the State of Indiana
- Current professional liability insurance
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on professional experience (spa or clinical environment preferred)
- Proficiency in deep tissue, Swedish, and hot stone techniques
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Certification or advanced experience in manual lymphatic drainage or lymphedema care
- Familiarity with scheduling or POS software
- Interest in holistic wellness and integrative care
