Located in Belton, Missouri, Salmon SpeedWorx is a growing automotive customization and performance shop offering a wide range of services under one roof.

Our services include full and partial vehicle wraps, commercial fleet graphics, custom decals, paint protection film (PPF), window tint, performance upgrades, wheels and tires, suspension, and more.

As our vinyl and graphics department continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our team.

This position is specifically for individuals with professional vinyl installation experience. We are not seeking entry-level installers or candidates looking to learn vehicle wrapping from the ground up.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented installer who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing full vehicle color-change wraps, commercial graphics, partial wraps, and decals.

You should be comfortable working independently, handling complex vehicle surfaces, and completing installations efficiently without sacrificing quality.

We are looking for someone who understands proper installation techniques, material handling, vehicle preparation, and finishing procedures, and who can consistently deliver professional results.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional installation of full and partial vehicle color-change wraps
• Install commercial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, lettering, and decals
• Properly prepare vehicle surfaces, including cleaning, decontamination, and necessary disassembly
• Safely remove and reinstall vehicle components as required for installations
• Install vinyl on complex curves, recessed areas, bumpers, mirrors, and other challenging surfaces
• Properly stretch, conform, trim, tuck, and finish vinyl materials
• Follow manufacturer-recommended installation practices, including proper post-heating procedures
• Identify and correct installation issues such as lifting edges, wrinkles, trapped air, and improper adhesion
• Perform vinyl removal when necessary
• Inspect completed installations to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Work collaboratively with other installers, production staff, and management to complete projects on schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional automotive vinyl wrap installation experience
• Demonstrated experience completing full vehicle wraps
• Experience installing both color-change wraps and commercial graphics
• Strong understanding of vinyl installation techniques, material properties, stretching limitations, and post-heating
• Ability to work independently and complete installations with minimal supervision
• Experience safely trimming vinyl around painted vehicle surfaces
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around edges, seams, corners, and finishing work
• Ability to maintain installation quality while working efficiently within scheduled labor times
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation challenges
• Dependable attendance, professionalism, and ability to work effectively with a team
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, reaching, and working around vehicles throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications

• 3M, Avery Dennison, or other recognized vinyl wrap installation certifications
• 3 years of professional automotive wrap installation experience
• Experience with premium cast color-change films, including 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, and ORAFOL
• Experience wrapping large commercial vehicles, trucks, vans, and fleet vehicles
• Experience removing and reinstalling automotive trim, badges, handles, mirrors, and other components
• Experience with paint protection film (PPF) installation is a plus but is not required

Experience Requirements

Automotive vinyl wrap installation: 2 years (Required)

Full vehicle color-change wrap installation: Required

Commercial vehicle graphics installation: Preferred
