What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Customer Service Representative position at Salish Veterinary Hospital?
We are a privately owned veterinary hospital with a warm, supportive, and down to earth team. Our modern practice opened in Snoqualmie in 2016 and has continued to grow as a trusted part of the community ever since. Because we are independently owned, decisions are made by the people who work here not a corporate office.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome clients and serve as the first friendly point of contact, both in person and over the phone
- Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins and check-outs, and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding appointments, services, and follow-up care
- Support the medical team by helping coordinate workflow and ensuring smooth clinic operations
- Promote a calm, caring, and professional environment for both clients and their pets
Who You Are
- Friendly, compassionate, and reliable with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A team player who enjoys helping others and contributing to a positive workplace culture
- Previous veterinary or medical reception experience is helpful, but a strong willingness to learn is the only requirement

Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Saturday may be part of the regular schedule
- No Sundays and no overnight emergency shifts
