Dishwasher / Prep Cook

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our culinary team in Midlothian, VA.

This position is an important part of our kitchen operation. The Dishwasher / Prep Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized dish area and kitchen while supporting the culinary team with basic food preparation and daily kitchen tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and wash plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout service
• Inspect dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans for cleanliness
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and keep work areas clean, dry, and free of debris
• Remove trash, recycling, and cardboard throughout the shift
• Clean and sanitize trash cans, work areas, and kitchen equipment
• Receive, organize, and properly store deliveries
• Maintain clean and organized coolers, freezers, and dry-storage areas
• Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation as needed
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as needed
