POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
Registers inpatient, outpatient, emergency, registration activities of the health center to include point of service collections in all areas that patients in these areas are registered. This position assists staff in standard operating procedure of the department. The privacy, security and confidentiality of protected health information, and the MHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Ethical Conduct are maintained at all times.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience
Two years’ experience in a Registration/ED setting or related field and/or Meditech computer system
Lead or Supervisory experience preferred
Required Registration/License/Certification
None
