Registration Clerk - Full-time, 40 hour/week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registration Clerk to join our team at Clay Center Family Physicians. Team member may also cover at our satellite offices as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients checking in for appointments.
- Maintain current patient documentation (insurance, address, phone number, consent for treatment etc.)
- Collect copayments at time of service.
- Answer incoming calls and manage messages.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
- Support clinical staff with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong office skills and proficiency with computers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Highly organized and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Previous medical experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right person.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed for the benefit of the department and our patients.
