As a Lifeguard at The Salina Country Club, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests at the pool facilities. With a focus on providing a safe and welcoming environment, you will oversee pool operations, enforce safety protocols, and deliver exceptional hospitality to all members and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool area to ensure safety and prevent accidents
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide immediate assistance and rescue services in the event of emergencies
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including arranging pool furniture and equipment
- Conduct regular safety checks and inspections of pool facilities
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience
- Assist in organizing and overseeing pool-related activities and events
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly
Qualifications:
- Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA)
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Previous lifeguard experience is preferred but not required
- A passion for safety, hospitality, and guest satisfaction
