Job Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Attorney to handle Marchman Act, Baker Act, and Guardianship cases. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in a State Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, or routinely handling these types of cases in private practice.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and impactful matters, providing advocacy and guidance in mental health and guardianship proceedings.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $100,000–$120,000
- Flexible work arrangements: Boca Raton (Hybrid) or Jacksonville office

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in Marchman Act (substance abuse), Baker Act (mental health), and Guardianship cases
- Prepare and file petitions, motions, and court documents
- Attend hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
- Advise clients, families, and stakeholders on legal options and procedures
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Florida.
- Significant experience with Marchman Act, Baker Act, and Guardianship cases.
- Prior experience in a State Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, or similar practice is preferred.
