What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Sales Executive | Fort Worth, TX – Hybrid position at Sales Talent Inc.?
A privately owned staffing firm with 25 years in business is hiring a Staffing Sales Executive to take over an established Fort Worth territory.
This is not a cold-start role. You'll inherit a strong book of long-term clients, step into a market with real presence, and have the runway to grow across multiple staffing categories — with commissions already coming in on day one.
About the Role
This is a regional sales role built around owning and growing an existing Fort Worth book of business while continuing to develop new client relationships.
It's the right fit if you're a field-based, relationship-driven seller who wants real territory ownership — not a managed patch — and who is motivated by both protecting existing revenue and hunting new business.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and grow an inherited ~$2M book of business, with commissions paid to you for the life of each client relationship
- Build deeper relationships with long-term clients who already know and trust the firm
- Develop new business across the Fort Worth market
- Sell across multiple staffing categories: office/clerical, professional staffing, IT, accounting/finance, call center, and direct placement
- Partner with internal recruiting teams who own candidate delivery so you can stay focused on clients
- Spend consistent time in the field — this is a relationship role, not a desk role
- Expand current accounts by introducing additional service lines
What Makes This Opportunity Different
Most staffing sales roles ask you to build from zero or hand you a book you don't really own. This one is different:
- Inherited revenue with real commission day one — ~$2M book with $45K–$60K in highly reliable existing commissions transferring to you
- Uncapped commission plus profit-sharing bonuses beginning in year two
- Multi-category selling — not siloed into one vertical; broader scope means more ways to grow existing accounts
- Company-paid medical for you and your family — zero premium cost
- Strong internal delivery support — recruiting handles candidates; you own the client
- Client entertainment budget — the firm actively supports relationship-building in the field
- Long-term stability — privately owned, 25 years in business, not a PE-backed churn machine
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $90K–$120K (flexible for the right candidate)
- Year 1 OTE: $150K–$200K
- Existing book commissions: ~$45K–$60K in highly reliable income tied to the inherited book — this comes to you from the start
- Uncapped commission on all new and expanded business
- Health insurance: Company pays 100% of premiums for employee and family
- 401(k) matchPTO: 15 days to start, increases at 5 years, plus standard holidays
- Paid sabbatitical program
- Phone and mileage reimbursement
- Client entertainment budget
- President's Club and additional bonus opportunities
The Honest Part
This is not a maintenance role. The book is established, but the expectation is growth — new logos, expanded service lines, deeper account penetration.
The right person is proactive, comfortable in the field, consistent with new business activity, and genuinely motivated to build something over the long haul.
What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of staffing sales experience
- Proven track record managing and growing client relationships
- Real new business development ability — not just account maintenance
- Comfortable selling face-to-face and spending meaningful time in the field
- Experience in office/clerical, professional staffing, accounting/finance, call center,
- or IT staffing
- Stable career history and a competitive, self-directed sales mindset
- Looking for a long-term home, not a stepping stone
Note: Candidates from construction or industrial staffing backgrounds are not the right fit for this particular role.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
