Location: Remote/ Hybrid (They do have a New York-based office, but are open to a fully remote candidate)
Compensation: $105K OTE
Our client is a high-growth, technology-driven company that supports thousands of organizations globally through a highly operational, client-focused platform. With a strong reputation for customer retention, internal growth, and long-tenured employees, the company is continuing to expand its Customer Success organization.
They are looking to add an Account Manager to support and retain a high-volume book of existing customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship management, proactive outreach, and helping clients maximize value over time - while still maintaining a consultative, sales-minded approach.
This role sits within the Customer Success team and focuses heavily on retention, account engagement, and identifying opportunities for incremental growth across an existing portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 120-150 existing customer accounts
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as their primary point of contact
- Proactively engage accounts to maintain retention and increase customer satisfaction
- Monitor account health, purchasing trends, and engagement activity
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing teams and departments
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams including Operations, Service, Finance, and Sales
- Conduct regular customer check-ins and business reviews
- Maintain detailed CRM documentation and account activity tracking
- Balance reactive customer support with proactive account outreach and relationship-building
What They’re Looking For
- 3 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, SDR, or client-facing sales roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing a high-volume portfolio and multitasking across priorities
- Proactive, organized, and highly motivated personality
- Someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and engage customers directly
- Coachable, curious, and eager to grow internally
- Experience using Salesforce or a CRM preferred
