About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Personal Injury Attorney with 2–6 years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice to join our growing legal team. In this role, you’ll work closely with Partners, clients, and support staff to deliver top-tier legal services, maximize case value, and maintain the high standards our firm is known for.
Please note: This is a fully on-site role in Woodbury, Nassau County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution
- Collaborate with Partners and experts to assess case viability and develop winning legal strategies
- Conduct and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, defendants, and third-party witnesses
- Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and expert reports
- Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings
- Provide superior client communication and foster long-term relationships
- Build your personal brand and referral network to drive firm growth
- Maintain a high standard of ethics, integrity, and client service
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice in New York and in good standing
- 2–6 years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice law
- Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starting mindset
- NYS federal court admission preferred
