Home School Counselor Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience working with middle school aged children
Provides individual counseling to students with social emotional learning needs.
Licenced social worker or mental health counselor
Experience in providing positive behavior supports and interventions
Individual and small group skill instruction
Ability to coach teachers and team members for implementation of mental health support strategies
Integral team member in developing and implementing behavior support plans and interventions
Possess strong communication skills
Collaboratively work with families and school teams
