Current FT openings for:
Day Shift: 8 hours (6a-2p), 12 hours (6a-6p)
Evening Shift: 8 hours (2p-10p), 12 hours (10a-10p)
Night Shift: 12 hours (6p-6a)
Differentials:
PRN Wage Scale: Pays $1/more an hour due to no benefits offered
Evening Shift Differential (paid from 2p-10p): $1/hr
Night Shift Differential (paid from 10p-6a): $2/hr
Weekend Differential (begins at 6pm on Friday and ends at 6am on Monday): $1/hr
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
- Monitor patient conditions closely and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques, especially in critical care or sterile procedures
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, including those with dementia or behavioral health needs
- Assist with specialized care such as catheter care, Alzheimer's or memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities
- Document patient interactions accurately in medical records while respecting HIPAA regulations for confidentiality
- Support discharge procedures and home care visits when applicable
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification from an accredited program with current licensure in the state of employment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Point Click Care.
- Experience with specialized patient populations including geriatrics, behavioral health, or patients with infectious diseases or dementia care needs
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide excellent patient service
