Shift Hours:
Evening Shift: 8 hours (2p-10p)
Differentials:
Shift Differential (paid from 2p-10p): $1/hr
Weekend Differential (paid from 6pm on Friday until 6am on Monday): $1/hr
PRN Wage Scale: Pays $1 higher due to no benefits offered
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents following all safety protocols and medication administration procedures
- Assist with medication documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Point Click Care
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Provide care for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other memory-related conditions, including memory care activities
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including tube feeding, catheter care, and other personal care needs
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive senior care, hospice care, and home & community care services
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices is essential
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with disabilities and working in dementia or memory care settings is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to perform medication administration safely and effectively in a long-term care setting
