Your Role With Us:
As an integral part of the patient care team, the Patient Care Attendant will provide patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse. Your will communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians and demonstrate a commitment to meeting needs of the patient population you serve.
Core Functions:
- Provide Patient 1:1 care to maintain constant visualization of patient
- Completes personal care on each patient as assigned
- Gives care in a caring manner, encouraging self-care as appropriate
- Observes and reports any patient condition change to the Primary Nurse

Background/Expertise:
- Recent experience in acute care setting preferred
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
- Current Salem Health employee preferred
- Strong medical terminology preferred
- Demonstrates dedication to good interpersonal communication skills with co-workers and patients.
