Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Buyer to join our team as integral members of our Arlington manufacturing facility. This role serves as a critical link between our global supply chain and local operations. The successful candidate will have a dual focus: acting as the on-site Supply Chain representative to ensure seamless material flow for production, and managing the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process for local US suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Factory Operations & Supply Chain Support:
- Act as the primary Supply Chain representative in daily factory operations, actively participating in production planning, material review, and operational meetings.
- Monitor and manage factory inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) in real-time to align with production schedules and prevent line-side shortages.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Warehouse teams to quickly resolve material shortages, incoming quality issues, and other supply-related disruptions.
- Analyze and report on factory performance metrics related to material availability, driving initiatives for inventory optimization and turnover improvement.
2. Supplier & Procurement Process Management:
- Responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, qualification, and relationship management of local US suppliers.
- Execute the full procurement cycle, including RFQ, price analysis, negotiation, and the creation and issuance of Purchase Orders.
- Manage Purchase Orders through the entire lifecycle, track supplier order confirmation and delivery dates, and monitor supplier performance to achieve On-Time Delivery goals.
- Coordinate with internal finance and suppliers to efficiently process three-way matching (PO, GR, Invoice) to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Accurately maintain supplier data, PO status, and all relevant records within the ERP system.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Buyer or Material Planner in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be familiar with the supply chain operations of an assembly plant (understanding of S&OP, MPS, MRP concepts and processes is essential).
- Solid knowledge of supplier management and price negotiation.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a multinational manufacturing corporation.
- Knowledge of the local US supply market and supplier base.

Salary : $58,000 - $85,000
