What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Salcedo & Associates, P.C.?
Our firm seeks an associate attorney for our rapidly growing practice. Our main areas of practice include general civil litigation, commercial litigation, real property disputes, construction law, trust and estates litigation, probates, personal injury, and family law. However, there will be opportunities in wide-ranging, varied areas of law, e.g., our associates have briefed appeals for the New Mexico Court of Appeals, represented clients in administrative hearings before state regulatory boards, and negotiated commercial and real estate contracts.
Associates will receive mentorship and one-on-one training with our managing partner, mentorship and one-on-one training with our more experienced associate attorney(s), one-on-one training with experienced litigators and mentors outside of the firm, and opportunities for court appearances, throughout their employment.

Required Work Experience: None (0-1 year)
Required Education and Licenses:
- J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School
- Admission to the New Mexico State Bar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Practicing Attorney or a Judicial Clerkship
- Law School Clinic Experience
- Moot Court
- Fluency in Spanish
- Admission to the Texas State Bar
