What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Assistant position at Salata?
Salata Salad Kitchen is a Houston based, established fast-casual salad kitchen opening several locations in Charlotte. We currently have two locations, Uptown and Rea Farms, and future growth is in the immediate plans! We are seeking a dynamic and confident Catering Assistant who can help the Catering Sales Manager (CSM) build sales and work with the stores to coordinate excellent quality and service.

Qualifications:
● This individual needs to be able to work under pressure with a positive attitude
and welcoming personality.
● Applicants must have access to a vehicle, valid driver's license, and
insurance.
● Excellent communication skills, organization skills, attention to detail, and
customer service skills.
● Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
● Restaurant, catering, and delivery experience strongly preferred.
● Excellent time management skills, strong problem solver.
● Able to meet deadlines and schedules.
Responsibilities:
● The Catering Assistant works alongside the Catering Sales Manager (CSM) and
General Manager to execute all catering orders.
● Take pride and ownership in all catering orders.
● As a Catering Assistant you must have attention to detail to ensure all orders are sent out
correctly, efficiently, and accurately.
● Engage with clients by providing quality service and products by delivering their
food efficiently and on time.
● Reports to work on time in a clean and professional attire.
● Adheres to all health and safety regulations pertinent to catering events.
● Build out the catering order(s), check order for accuracy before leaving the store,
deliver & set up catering order(s) for guests within the 30 minute delivery time
window.
The Catering Assistant will provide support to multiple locations depending on the business needs for the day, as determined by the CSM. When catering business does not require support, the Catering Assistant may be called upon to provide support for the restaurant operations as needed. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we build the Salata brand in the Charlotte metro area; we are expanding and advancement is likely for the right person!
