Warehouse and Receiving Assistant

Support hotel outlets in handling day-to-day receiving and order fulfillment while assisting Purchasing Manager in daily duties and functions.

• Receive daily food, alcohol, and non-food deliveries from multiple vendors and ensure their accuracy and quality.
• Ensure all deliveries, from all vendors, including mail and freight companies, are delivered to the appropriate outlets and in their designated areas of receiving.
• As needed, receive daily orders from hotel outlets and fulfill and deliver those orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• As needed, perform actions to close outlet orders, using a computer.
• Ensure proper daily product rotation, utilizing the FIFO method.
• Stock Storeroom areas to maintain a minimum par level.
• Organize Storeroom areas.
• Maintain clean and clear receiving areas.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school or equivalent education required.

• The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
• The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds throughout day.
• Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with employees, and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
