About the Role
The Director of Global Marketing serves as a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with executive leadership to shape commercial priorities, strengthen market position, and build marketing into a clear driver of business growth.
This role will lead the company’s marketing function across OEM, distributor, direct sales, and emerging market opportunities. The ideal leader is equal parts strategist, operator, and builder — someone who can create the roadmap, establish priorities, align stakeholders, build scalable processes, and ensure marketing activity is directly tied to commercial objectives.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys creating structure, driving alignment, and turning strategy into execution across a diverse portfolio of highly technical products serving healthcare, life sciences, environmental monitoring, and industrial markets.
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Schedule: Remote on Mondays & Fridays and Onsite Tuesday through Thursday
Travel Expectations: ~25%

What You’ll Do
Marketing Strategy & Commercial Growth
• Develop and own Salaera’s marketing strategy and annual roadmap.
• Align marketing priorities to company growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities to grow OEM, distributor, and direct revenue channels.
• Partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and market expansion.
• Champion the voice of the customer by bringing market insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and commercial trends into strategic planning and business decisions.
• Translate business priorities into actionable marketing plans with measurable outcomes.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
• Lead positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning across the Salaera portfolio.
• Translate complex technical products into compelling customer value propositions.
• Support product launches, portfolio expansion, and market development initiatives.
• Ensure marketing is closely aligned with product management and commercial priorities.
• Strengthen how Salaera communicates value across healthcare, environmental, industrial, and life science markets.
• Lead commercial go-to-market planning for new products, product refreshes, portfolio expansion, and strategic growth initiatives.
Communications & Brand
• Lead Salaera’s corporate communications and brand strategy.
• Maintain a consistent market position across all business units and channels.
• Develop thought leadership, customer education, and market-facing content strategies.
• Support communications by developing leadership messaging, presentations, town hall content, and communication frameworks that strengthen alignment across the organization.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR to maintain consistency between internal and external messaging.
• Guide the evolution of the Salaera brand as the company continues to grow and integrate acquisitions.
Sales, Distributor & OEM Enablement
• Strengthen marketing support for sales teams, distributors, and OEM partners.
• Develop programs, tools, and resources that help accelerate commercial growth.
• Ensure marketing investments are connected to measurable business outcomes.
• Partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to identify market opportunities and support key growth initiatives.
Digital Strategy, Website & Demand Generation
• Lead the strategic direction of Salaera’s digital ecosystem, with the website serving as a primary platform for commercial growth, product discovery, customer education, and distributor support.
• Own the long-term vision for the website and customer portal, ensuring both can scale with the business, support product expansion, improve the customer journey, and create a stronger digital destination for technical buyers, partners, and customers.
• Partner with agency and internal teams to guide website architecture, SEO, content strategy, product navigation, conversion paths, analytics, and ongoing optimization.
• Provide strategic direction for digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, paid media, marketing automation, and demand generation so channels work together to support business priorities and measurable commercial outcomes.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop the marketing team.

• Manage agency and vendor relationships.

• Experience marketing complex products within medical devices, life sciences, healthcare, industrial technology, diagnostics, or engineered products.
• A strong foundation in product marketing, commercial marketing, and go-to-market strategy with a track record of connecting marketing investment to business growth.
• Experience supporting multiple routes to market, including OEM, distributors, channel partners, and direct sales.
• Demonstrated success building marketing functions, creating structure, and establishing scalable processes in growing organizations.
• Experience leading website strategy, digital customer experiences, customer portals, SEO, conversion optimization, and digital growth initiatives while effectively managing agency partners.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation will be based on skills, experience, internal equity, and market alignment. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401K plan participation; paid time off; company holidays; and additional programs based on eligibility.
Salary : $155,000 - $170,000
