Job Summary
Saladino Property Maintenance is looking for an experienced Mowing Crew Lead to work alongside and lead a crew in providing high-quality residential / commercial lawn maintenance and landscape tasks. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and knows how to run a crew efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a mowing/landscape crew on daily routes
- Perform residential/commercial mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Ensure properties meet company quality standards
- Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment
- Train crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Communicate with management regarding schedules, issues, and job progress
- Drive/Load/unload equipment and keep trucks and trailers clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures
Requirements
- Previous landscaping or lawn maintenance experience (crew lead experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mowing equipment and lawn care practices
- Ability to lead, motivate, and hold crew members accountable
- Valid driver’s license (DOT a plus)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor daily
