Workday HCM Integration Lead

JOB TITLE: Workday HCM Integration Lead/Developer

Location: Hampton, VA

About the Role

Hampton Roads Transit is seeking a Workday HCM Integration Lead/Developer to support, develop, test, and manage integrations for our Workday Implementation Project.
This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless integration between Workday and other enterprise systems focusing on data accuracy, security, and performance.

You ll collaborate closely with our implementation partner, internal stakeholders, and vendors to deliver integration solutions that meet business and technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage integration workstreams and report progress to project management.

Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services.

Facilitate end-to-end integration testing and coordinate with functional teams.

Develop custom reports using Workday Report Designer Tools.

Support Workday authentication, SSO, and system configuration.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Provide documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer for ongoing support.

What We re Looking For

7 years of experience leading/managing Workday integrations.

Expert-level proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Reporting Tools.

Strong technical and functional knowledge across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Time Reporting.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to mentor team members and ensure best practices in integration development.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field.
