Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Utilize a variety of different cooking methods.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
- Prep, wash, and chop meal components for dishes, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Clean prep station and put away equiptment
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including cooking techniques and kitchen safety.
- Ability to prep and cook menu items according to instructions.
- Knowledge of food safety. Certification is a huge plus.

*Entry level kitchen positions start in the hot line /otsumami stations, ideally moving into a sushi roller/sashimi chef after mastering the back lines and prep duties. Candidates with prior sushi chef experience may be fast tracked to a sushi roller/sashimi chef positon.
