In this dual role, you will be the welcoming face of our shop, crafting exceptional espresso-based specialty coffee drinks and serving artisanal, high-quality gelato. Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Customer Service: Greet every guest warmly, take orders accurately, guide customers through our coffee and gelato menus, and process transactions efficiently using our point-of-sale system.

* Coffee & Beverage Preparation: Operate commercial espresso machines to brew espresso, texture milk to perfection, and prepare a wide array of hot, iced, and specialty drinks according to exact house recipes.

* Gelato Service & Maintenance: Scoop and serve artisanal gelato cleanly and efficiently, maintain proper display case presentation, and monitor product temperatures and quality.

* Shop Cleanliness & Sanitation: Keep the front counter, espresso bar, gelato display case, seating areas, and equipment impeccably clean throughout the shift. Restock supplies, cups, syrups, and toppings as needed.

* Opening & Closing Duties: Execute opening and closing checklists, including restocking inventory, cash drawer balancing, and thorough sanitization of equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

* Previous experience as a barista, food service worker, or counter server is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn and positive attitude are most important.

* Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

* Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.

* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.

* Reliable transportation and strict punctuality.

Availability Requirements (Mandatory)

* Requires full, unrestricted availability during operational hours (10am-10pm).

* Candidates must be able to commit to a mandatory, non-negotiable schedule. Shifts will be assigned based on business needs, and open availability across operating hours is a strict prerequisite for employment.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
