This role is an essential part of the preschool classroom, supporting both the teacher and students while helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Position Overview
This position is 28–35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school year calendar. Daily hours will fall within the school day, typically between 7:50 AM and 3:20 PM, and will be determined based on classroom needs.
The Preschool Classroom Associate works closely with the Preschool Teacher to support instruction, supervise students, and assist with classroom organization and daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the teacher during instructional time and classroom activities
- Assist with supervision of students in the classroom, hallways, and playground
- Help students with daily routines such as arrival, dismissal, snacks, and transitions
- Provide individual or small group support as directed by the teacher
- Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and clean up
- Support student needs with patience, including toileting, basic hygiene, and emotional regulation
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with the teacher and staff to support student success
