- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and floor cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, following all safety protocols.
- Operate cleaning equipment with precision.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or equipment, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow environmental services guidelines to ensure eco-friendly practices are incorporated into daily routines.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety procedures related to cleaning products is required.
- Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors is advantageous.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely are necessary.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior exposure to environmental services or custodial roles demonstrating attention to detail and reliability.
