Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of the Nursing Program, Adjunct Clinical Faculty are essential to our students' education. They oversee the clinical training of Pre-licensure BSN students, evaluating their clinical experiences and grading all clinical assignments in collaboration with the primary course instructor. The adjunct faculty will closely collaborate with the primary instructor to ensure that the clinical learning objectives are achieved.

Hourly Range: $60 - $70 per hour
Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinical instruction of the assigned group(s) of students in the clinical and laboratory settings.

Attends hospital orientations prior to start of clinical.

Orients students to the clinical unit.

Selects appropriate learning experiences for the assigned student group(s), i.e., client/patient assignments and planning clinical conferences, pre and post conferences.

Observation of the students’ performance, guidance of the students’ performance, review of procedures and principles as necessary.

Evaluation of students’ clinical performance on a weekly basis and verbally, as needed, on an individual basis, including written feedback.

Participates in and leads simulated nursing experiences as necessary.

Maintains a cooperative, positive relationship with the staff on unit to facilitate the optimum learning environment for the students.

Maintains effective, ongoing communication with the primary course instructor concerning student progress and/or concerns.
Qualifications
Qualification Standards:
Successful candidates should have earned a minimum of a master’s degree, at least five to ten years of clinical experience, and a commitment to student success
- NJ RN License
- Current Certification in CPR
- Relevant/recent clinical experience
Salary : $60 - $70
