Sr. Systems Administrator
Radiology Administration
The Sr. Systems Administrator will:
- Coordinate infrastructure installation/upgrade/support activities between Mckesson, infrastructure personnel, and systems analysts.
- Work as a liaison between the SPUH infrastructure team, Clinical/Business IT teams, and Mckesson support to ensure that infrastructure/Paragon related patches, updates, environment changes, and upgrades are properly prepared for and communicated to Clinical/Business IT teams.
- Be responsible for monitoring clinical system backups, and ensuring that all paragon/infrastructure monitoring technologies are functional and enhanced as needed.
- Perform systems administration and management activities for the assigned system i.e., day- to-day maintenance, system patches, performance monitoring, and assurance that backup and archival procedures are executed per guidelines.
- Support applications throughout the hospital in terms of product evaluation, hardware/software resource requirements, installation, and ongoing support.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Certification from a certified computer school
- Minimum of five (5) years of systems administration experience.
- Capability to prioritize and organize heavy workflow.
- Equipment operated: Windows Servers, Network Appliances, Computers, PDAs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Products, commands and utilities.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work weekends, holidays and nights if required.
Salary Range: 85,467.00 - 141,066.00 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
