The Operating Room Equipment Technician will:
- Transport of patients to the surgical suite
- Provide for patient's personal hygiene needs
- Pick up and deliver specimen, x-rays, and medications from designated areas to the O.R.
- Notify Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse of any unusual occurrences of an urgent nature as they develop
- Assist the Operating Room staff in the daily operation of equipment
- Consistently displaying a respectful, empathetic and caring attitude toward patients
- Successful completion of an orientation program.
- Ability to carry out assignments and procedures as ordered independently, according to policies and procedures.
- BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
