How you'll contribute:
A Unit Clerk – Women’s Clinic who excels in this role:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
- Performs prior authorizations for procedures.
- Enters nursing requests subject to the approval of a licensed nurse. Asks for clarification when necessary.
- Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
- Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, filing, and ordering/stocking supplies.

What we're looking for:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate degree Preferred
Experience: 6 months of administrative/clerical, medical background preferred
License: N/A
Certifications: CPC required
