Registered Nurse - Infectious Disease Clinic

Job Description

We are hiring a Full Time RN for our Infectious Disease clinic at our Saint Luke's North location!

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 430 pm
• Hybrid opportunity after 90 days - 2 days remote and 3 days in clinic
• No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays!
• MO and KS RN license and BLS required
• Prior experience with Infectious Disease or Primary Care or Med- Surg preferred
  
  

The position is primarily based at the North, but will sometimes float to the Plaza clinic to cover as well. We are looking for someone that is also team oriented and flexible.

The Opportunity

• Working with patients that are on outpatient IV antibiotics
• Monitor lab work
• Weekly check in with patients
• Collaborate with APP's on patients with plan changes
• Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care.
• Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, inserts intravenous access with medication.
• Provides administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need.
• Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice.
• Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
