- Evaluating patients prior to surgery and preparing them through IV therapy, medications, and site verification
- Educating patients and families about procedures and follow-up care
- Participating in surgical site verification protocols such as briefing and debriefing
- Recognizing and responding to patient emergencies
- Monitoring patient conditions throughout shifts and documenting changes
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of providers, surgeons, and technologists
- Applying clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care
- Active RN license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
- Self-scheduling posted four weeks in advance
- On-call during select non-business hours
