Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Assistant to support our educators in fostering a positive learning environment for young children for the remainder of the 2026 school year and to continue in the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children. This role involves assisting in daily classroom activities, promoting literacy and math skills, and providing care for children during recess and lunch.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to toddlers and preschoolers.
- Provide individualized support to children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being throughout the day.
- Support children in developing basic math skills through playful learning experiences.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the classroom and when supervising students.
- Collaborate with educators to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
Skills
