- LPN SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL TIME (30 Hrs) - $2000 & PART TIME (29-24 Hrs) - $1000 ***
- EXCELLENT SHIFT & WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS UP TO $8.00/SHIFT ***
- Assessing the health care needs of the resident, make a nursing diagnosis, transition this, through collaboration with the nursing team, into an interdisciplinary plan of care utilizing all resources available. Is able to communicate this plan to all care providers in a way that ensures continuity of care for resident.
- A broad scope of knowledge commiserates with her/his experience to be able to address the needs of the medically complex as well as the mentally compromised residents.
- The ability to establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff, and community.
- Administers medications and treatments according to standards of practice.
- Documents care and treatment information in an accurate and timely manner and maintains the center records according to center, state and federal requirements.
- Completes documentation that supports the MDS and MMQ process to ensure center compliance.
- The knowledge to assess the effect of medications and treatments and monitor these effects to provide appropriate feedback to interdisciplinary team and medical managers to continuously provide the resident with the treatment appropriate to their individual needs.
- The ability to lead and direct the nursing staff in the safe, effective delivery of care by providing a structure. Provide education to residents regarding their healthcare issues, and care plan strategies.
- Knowledge of and is able to apply knowledge regarding the protection of resident rights, and the treatment of residents, staff and community with respect and dignity. Treating resident and facility property and information with honesty, confidentiality, and respect.
- Remains up to date on all required educational components and seeks skill growth independently included state CEU requirements.
- Current, unencumbered, license as a LPN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
