What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Teacher position at Saint Amelia School?
The Music teacher will be responsible for teaching grades PreK-4 through Grade 8. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
-Creating and executing exciting and relevant plans that are age and developmentally appropriate
-Maintaining class control and safety
-Displaying a positive and nurturing attitude toward all children
-Coordinating and producing annual Christmas play/musical and Spring musical in collaboration with others
-Leading liturgical music and/or children's choir
-Designing/creating musical playbills
-Recording grades in e-School in a timely manner
-Maintaining open communication with other faculty, administration and parents
-Care and upkeep of musical instruments and other materials
-Other duties as assigned by principal
Job Type: Full-time
