We are looking for an experienced User Interface Development Manager to lead the design, development, and testing of user interface software for industrial automation instruments. This role suits a technically strong leader who excels in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and is focused on delivering intuitive, standards-compliant interfaces for critical automation systems.
The position emphasizes embedded web server and UIP development, along with FieldComm Group technologies such as FDI and EDDL, to ensure consistent, high-quality user experiences across devices and host systems.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and mentor a team of UI and embedded software engineers.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support team growth through hiring, onboarding, and development initiatives.
Technical Oversight
• Guide the architecture, design, and implementation of embedded UI software, including web servers, UIP frameworks, FDI workflows, and EDDL device descriptions.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, usability, reliability, and cybersecurity standards.
• Oversee integration with embedded firmware and host systems.
Project & Process Management
• Manage the full UI software lifecycle from planning through release.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align on requirements and deliverables.
• Apply Agile practices and maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and traceability.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure alignment with relevant industrial and FieldComm standards.
• Promote automated testing, CI/CD practices, and version control standards.
• Support interoperability testing and validation with external systems.

Qualifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field/experience
• Extensive experience in software development
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $175,000 - $190,000
