Civil Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of municipal infrastructure and private-sector site development projects throughout Iowa. Responsibilities
Work on and help lead civil engineering projects from initial concept and planning through design and construction
Assist with the design of municipal infrastructure and private site development projects
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders
Coordinate internal resources and external partners to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations
Develop project proposals, budgets, schedules, and scopes of work
Monitor project performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain successful project delivery
Ensure engineering work meets quality standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable industry specifications
Provide project leadership while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting less-experienced staff
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Iowa, or the ability to obtain registration
Ideally at least 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience
Demonstrated experience with project management, design, and client coordination
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently meet project deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
A collaborative, team-oriented approach and genuine interest in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
