Description
The System Integration Senior leads the integration efforts for complex C5ISR systems, ensuring seamless interoperability between various subsystems and components for the new ship construction USCG Polar Security Cutter.
Duties
- Lead the integration of shipboard C5ISR systems, ensuring interoperability between combat systems, sensors, and communications networks.
- Support the finalization of system interfaces and integration planning efforts for the shipboard C5ISR architecture, including interface control documents, and systems engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Bollinger, USCG and OEM vendors for system integration requirements, project processes and workflows.
- Develop and validate integration and verification schedules, including Production Integration Facility C5ISR systems, new ship construction, ship C5ISR installation, and builder sea trials.
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements and integration milestones.
- Support Technical Critical Design Review (TCDR), including reviewing overall system architecture, final network architecture design, cyber security design, and other critical elements of the PSC C5ISR suite.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
- Education Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Level II – Security certification or CISSP or equivalent
- Five (5) years of extensive knowledge of shipboard C5ISR systems and architecture
- Expertise in integrating complex shipboard C5ISR systems.
- Experience supporting projects in a Shipyard environment
- Strong understanding of interface development and control documentation.
- Ability to develop and manage integration schedules.
- Proficiency in requirements’ traceability and verification processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must be willing to travel at least once a month to customer location(s)
- Prior experience working on a Firm Fixed Priced contract
- Certified Integration Professional (CIP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- TS/SCI Eligible
