As our next Mold Setter, you’ll be at the forefront of installing, removing, inspecting, and maintaining molds used in the automotive injection‑molding process. Your expertise in mold setup, troubleshooting, mechanical alignment, and production support will be essential in driving our manufacturing success and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the molding department.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Install and remove injection molds per production requirements.
- Perform efficient mold changes to minimize downtime.
- Inspect molds for wear, damage, and functionality before and after installation.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure fastening of molds in machines.
- Collaborate with process technicians to optimize mold performance.
- Maintain accurate mold‑change activity records.
- Troubleshoot mold‑related issues during setup and machine operation.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and mold cleaning.
- Communicate mold conditions and issues to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols during mold handling, including lockout/tagout.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of injection‑molding machines and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with mold cleaning, inspection, or mold‑maintenance practices.
- Prior work with hoists, cranes, and heavy mold‑handling equipment.
- Background in automotive injection‑molding environments.
