Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our Transportation Design Group. This
role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about bridge and transportation
structure design and interested in leading projects and mentoring junior staff.
As part of our Structures Department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality bridge
and transportation infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities
● Lead bridge design projects from concept through design and construction
● Coordinate design elements across multiple engineering disciplines
● Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the design process
● Review and seal plans, specifications, and estimates as Engineer of Record
● Complete assigned project tasks and report progress to project managers
● Mentor, review, and check work performed by junior engineering staff
● Perform field visits and attend project meetings (on-site and off-site)
● Participate in proposal development, project scoping, and staffing projections
● Collaborate with team members, consultants, and clients
● Attend professional organization meetings to support business development and
industry relationships
Qualifications
● 5–8 years of experience in transportation or bridge design
● Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
● Professional Engineer (PE) license required
● Experience using MicroStation
● Strong knowledge of AASHTO bridge design codes
● Experience with PennDOT bridge design software and structural analysis programs
● Ability to perform project site visits
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
● Experience with PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects is preferred

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Structures) to join our team in Pennsylvania.
In this role, you will collaborate with key staff across our offices to deliver high-impact
transportation infrastructure projects for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, along with complex local engineering initiatives.
This position is ideal for a bridge/structural engineering professional who is passionate about
leading projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to business development while
delivering high-quality transportation structures.
Responsibilities
● Lead and manage bridge and structural engineering projects from planning through
delivery
● Define project scope, schedules, and budgets and ensure project milestones are met
● Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineering staff
● Serve as a thought leader within the organization and support professional development
initiatives
● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transportation infrastructure projects
● Support business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client
presentations
● Participate in industry meetings and maintain involvement in professional organizations
Qualifications
● 8 years of experience in bridge design or structural engineering
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
● Professional Engineer (PE) License required
