We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This position requires a professional who is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care support, coordinating appointments, and assisting with both clinical and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high standard of patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient and follow-up appointments efficiently
Record and document patient vital signs, including blood pressure and weight
Schedule and coordinate appointments.
Assist with injections as needed under supervision of NURSES AND MD
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Provide professional and compassionate assistance to patients and their families
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting (rheumatology or infusion therapy experience preferred)
Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer applications
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8-4pm
