What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer position at Sagres Construction, Corp?
Job Duties:
Pipelayers will be responsible for laying and joining concrete, PVC, or cast-iron pipes for drains, sewers, and water mains any size pipes and storm sewer any size tool. This includes rigging pipe for hoisting, setting pipe to grade and affixing the pipe joint. Prepare and grade the trenches either manually or by communicating with onsite equipment operators. This position requires manual labor as well as assisting other trades to the extent necessary with hands-on work.
