What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Saginaw County Youth Protection Council?
The Case Manager provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive support services to homeless young adults and young parent-headed families. This position focuses on helping youth achieve safe, stable, and permanent housing while building skills toward self-sufficiency. The Case Manager also engages in outreach, community education, and service coordination with partner agencies and stakeholders.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field required.
- Experience working with youth in an agency or group facility setting preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries with youth.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 per hour
