Youth Care Worker
As a Youth Care Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of young individuals, providing compassionate support and guidance. You will engage with youth and young adults, assisting them in their daily activities and promoting their overall well-being. Your work will be instrumental in helping them develop essential life skills while ensuring their safety and comfort.
What you’ll do
- Support youth in daily living activities, life skills, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
- Assist with conflict management and behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided as required by the agency, licensing, and contracts.
- Assist in keeping the facility clean and sanitary and maintaining a safe living environment for all residents.
- On-call shift coverage is required.
- Driving is a required part of the job.
Basic qualifications
- Experience in working with youth in an agency or group facility setting preferred.
- High School diploma or G.E.D preferred.
