What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Saginaw Control and Engineering?
Saginaw Control and Engineering is a Premier Tri-City employer with an opening in our Maintenance Department. Our two-State-of-the-art Manufacturing plants located in Saginaw, MI use robotics and some of the most current technology in the industry.
In this role at Saginaw Control & Engineering you can expect a fast-paced, hands-on work environment that keeps you active and involved every shift. The most important attributes are a strong base knowledge and a good attitude.
Shift Details:
- 2nd shift, hours are typically between 5:00p – 3:30a
- Scheduled shift hours vary based on production demand or department needs
Responsibilities:
- Equipment inspection and maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
- Building maintenance
- Maintaining robotic equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and thoroughly understand blue prints
- Electrical knowledge
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Compensation & Benefits:
