Vice President – Provider Sales ( US Healthcare )

Job Summary
The Vice President – Provider Sales will be responsible for driving new business growth within the U.S. healthcare provider services market. This executive will lead strategic business development efforts, build and maintain trusted relationships with senior healthcare executives, and develop a sustainable sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of hunting and acquiring new clients, with demonstrated success selling end-to-end Provider Services, including Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Clinical Services, particularly within hospital billing and healthcare provider organizations. The role carries an annual new-business sales target of $4M–$6M in Annual Contract Value (ACV) and requires an experienced sales leader capable of engaging with CEOs, CFOs, Chief Revenue Officers, VPs of Revenue Cycle, and other C-suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition and develop a qualified pipeline through direct sales efforts and leads generated by the business development team.
- Leverage established relationships and industry networks across the U.S. healthcare provider ecosystem to identify and pursue high-value opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Chief Revenue Officers, VPs of Revenue Cycle, and other senior healthcare executives.
- Partner closely with lead-generation teams to define target accounts, market priorities, and client requirements, while providing guidance and coaching.
- Understand client needs and develop compelling solutions, value propositions, proposals, RFP responses, and executive presentations.
- Lead opportunities through the complete sales lifecycle—from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, contracting, and closure.
- Assess the viability and strategic fit of prospective client programs based on client requirements, operational capabilities, and available resources.
- Collaborate with Operations, Client Services, IT, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Sales Support teams to ensure successful solution development and contract execution.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively throughout the sales and contracting process.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support the development of new services, solutions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor healthcare industry trends, market developments, leadership changes, competitive activity, and key investment areas across targeted accounts.
- Maintain accurate and timely sales activity, opportunity, and pipeline information in Salesforce.com, following established sales stages and processes.
- Support strategic account planning and contribute to long-term revenue growth across the Provider Services portfolio.
- Represent Sagility professionally in complex, multi-national client engagements and negotiations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10–15 years of successful healthcare sales experience, preferably within Provider Services, Healthcare BPO/BPM, RCM, or related healthcare solutions.
- Demonstrated success in new-logo acquisition, business development, and enterprise solution selling.
- Strong experience selling end-to-end Provider Services, including RCM and Clinical Services, with particular expertise in hospital billing.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare BPO/BPM industry and enterprise sales processes.
- Established relationships with senior healthcare decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, Chief Revenue Officers, VPs of Revenue Cycle, and other C-suite executives.
- Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles and close $4M–$6M annual contract value opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop compelling business cases and value propositions.
- Highly motivated, confident, and results-oriented sales executive with a strong hunter mentality.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business applications.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
